Choose the payment options you offer your payees

Not every payout program wants to offer every payment method. Some organisations are ACH-only; others want PayPal for international-friendly speed but not checks; some want everything.

As of this week, that’s your call.

What’s new

In the portal, under Settings → Payments, organisations can now switch each payout method on or off:

  • US bank account (ACH)
  • PayPal
  • Check (US and Canada)

Whatever you enable is exactly what your payees see when they pick how they want to be paid in their account. Disable a method and it disappears from the picker; payees who already saved a method you later disable keep their saved details, but new payouts won’t offer it.

Why it matters

Payment options are a policy decision — cost, reconciliation preferences, where your payees live — and until now the platform decided for you. Now the defaults are just defaults: bank transfer and check are on out of the box, and everything else is a toggle.

What’s next

Per-payee overrides (“this person may use PayPal even though it’s off by default”) are on our roadmap, along with more payout methods over time.
